Non-Flush Studs - Types TFH, TFHS - Unified
PEM® self-clinching studs offer easy installation by simply placing them in appropriately sized holes in sheets and pressing them in with a standard press. The head of the stud embeds securely into the sheet, with displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove for a flushhead assembly. TFH (non-flush) Studs are ideal for thin sheets as thin as .020 inches, providing high torque-out and pushout resistances. While the stud head may protrude slightly above the sheet surface, it ensures a secure lock in place. Recommended for use in steel or aluminum sheets with specific hardness levels, these studs offer reliable fastening solutions in various applications.
