Rivets

Rivets are fasteners used in construction and manufacturing to join materials like metal or leather. Comprising a cylindrical shaft and a head, rivets are inserted into pre-drilled holes and then deformed to create a permanent bond. Common types include solid rivets, where the shaft is simply hammered or compressed, and pop rivets, which are inserted through a hole and expanded using a tool. This deformation creates a secure, vibration-resistant connection, ideal for applications requiring strength and durability. Rivets find widespread use in aerospace, automotive, and structural engineering, providing a reliable and efficient method of assembly.
