Self-Clinching Pilot Pins - Type TPSâ„¢, TP4â„¢ - Unified
PEM® self-clinching studs are designed for easy installation in properly sized holes in sheets using a standard press. The head of the stud is embedded into the sheet, with displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove to create a flushhead assembly. This secure locking mechanism provides high torque-out and pushout resistances. TPS, TP4 Pilot Pins, made of 300 Series Stainless Steel and passivated for added durability, offer a versatile solution for positioning, pivot, and alignment tasks. The chamfered end facilitates precise mating hole location, making them ideal for applications in sheet thicknesses of 0.040" and above.
