Self-Clinching Pilot Pins - Type TPSâ„¢, TP4â„¢ - Unified
The PEM® self-clinching studs are designed for easy installation in sheets, simply placed in properly sized holes and squeezed into place using any standard press. This process embeds the head of the stud into the sheet, with the displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove, creating a flushhead assembly. This secure locking mechanism offers high torque-out and pushout resistances. The TPS, TP4 Pilot Pins are ideal for a variety of positioning, pivot, and alignment applications, with a flush-head design suitable for sheet thicknesses of 0.040" and greater. The chamfered end of the pins facilitates easy mating hole location, making them convenient and efficient for use. Crafted from 300 Series Stainless Steel and passivated for enhanced durability, these pins also comply with ROHS standards.
