PEM® self-clinching studs offer easy installation in sheets by simply placing them in properly sized holes and pressing them in with a standard press. The head of the stud embeds into the sheet, with displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into an annular groove for a flushhead assembly, providing secure locking with high torque-out and pushout resistances. TFH (non-flush) Studs are suitable for sheets as thin as .020 inches, offering strong attachment even in thicker sheets where flush head studs are not necessary. While the head of the TFH stud may project slightly above the sheet surface, it ensures reliable fastening with ample torque-out and pushout resistances. Recommended for use in steel or aluminum sheets with specific hardness levels, these non-flush studs provide versatile and durable fastening solutions.
