Floating self-clinching, locking thread fasteners LA4, LAC, LAS - Unified
Introducing our Floating Self-Clinching Locking Thread Fasteners, the perfect solution for providing load-bearing threads in thin sheets with up to .030” adjustment for hole misalignment. These fasteners, available in non-locking Type A4 and self-locking Type LA4 versions, offer easy assembly by being squeezed into prepared holes using a standard press, resulting in a flush sheet on one side and a securely locked fastener on the other. The unique PEM feature of the retainer shank ensures extra strength and support, with self-locking variants meeting NASM25027 specifications for thread locking torque performance. Made of durable 300 Series Stainless Steel, these fasteners are suitable for use in sheets as thin as .038” with hardness up to HRB 88 on the Rockwell “B” scale. Corresponding to sizes in US NASM45938/11 specifications, they are a reliable choice for a wide range of applications.
