High-Strength Studs - Type HFH/HFHS/HFHB - Unified
Install PEM® self-clinching studs effortlessly with any standard press by placing them in properly sized holes in sheets and squeezing into place. The head of the stud embeds into the sheet, with displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove for a secure, flushhead assembly. HFH (heavy-duty) Studs offer easy installation at lower costs, distributing axial tightening force over a large area for improved pull-through resistance. HFHB (heavy-duty BUSBAR®) Studs provide superior electrical/mechanical attachment, with phosphor bronze studs offering enhanced conductivity. Types HFH and HFHS are ideal for high-strength applications in thin sheets, while HFHB is recommended for use in copper sheets.
