High-Strength Studs - Type HFH/HFHS/HFHB - Unified
Install PEM® self-clinching studs effortlessly in sheets by squeezing them into properly sized holes with a standard press. The head embeds into the sheet, displacing metal smoothly for a flushhead assembly with high torque-out and pushout resistances. HFH (heavy-duty) Studs offer easier installation than weld studs, distributing tightening force over a large area for improved pull-through resistance. HFHB (heavy-duty BUSBAR®) Studs provide superior electrical/mechanical attachment, with phosphor bronze studs offering double the conductivity of carbon steel. Choose Type HFH/HFHS for high-strength applications in various sheet materials, and Type HFHB for copper sheets. Recommended for use in specific hardness ranges, these studs ensure secure and reliable fastening solutions.
