High-Strength Studs - Type HFH/HFHS/HFHB - Metric
Easily install PEM® self-clinching studs in sheets by simply placing them in appropriately sized holes and pressing them into position with a standard press. The stud head embeds securely into the sheet, with displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove for a flushhead assembly. HFH (heavy-duty) Studs provide a cost-effective alternative to weld studs, distributing tightening force over a large area for enhanced pull-through resistance. HFHB (heavy-duty BUSBAR®) Studs, made of phosphor bronze, offer superior electrical and mechanical attachment points. Choose Type HFH/HFHS/HFHB for high-strength applications in various materials, with specific recommendations for steel, aluminum, and copper sheets based on hardness levels.
