High-Tensile Strength Studs - Types HFG8â„¢, HF109â„¢ - Unified
PEM® self-clinching studs offer a reliable solution for fastening applications, effortlessly installed by pressing them into properly sized holes in sheets. The process embeds the stud securely, creating a flushhead assembly with high torque-out and pushout resistances. This eliminates the need for welding, reducing costs and simplifying installation. The heavy-duty HFH studs feature a large head that distributes tightening force over a wide area, enhancing pull-through resistance. Manufactured from heat-treated carbon steel, the HFG8 and HF109 studs are engineered for demanding applications, offering high tensile strength and hardness qualities. Ideal for use in steel or HSLA steel sheets, they are designed for panels as thin as .040". The genuine PEM stamp ensures authenticity, with Grade 8 and 10.9 head markings on respective studs.
