High-Tensile Strength Studs - Types HFG8â„¢, HF109â„¢ - Unified
PEM® self-clinching studs offer a reliable and efficient fastening solution, easily installed by pressing them into properly sized holes in sheets. The process embeds the stud head flush with the sheet, creating a secure assembly with high torque-out and pushout resistance. Designed as a cost-effective alternative to weld studs, the HFH (heavy-duty) Studs feature a large head for improved pull-through resistance. Made from heat-treated carbon steel, Types HFG8™ and HF109™ are ideal for heavy-duty applications, offering high tensile strength and hardness qualities. These studs, meeting Grade 8 and 10.9 specifications, are recommended for use in steel or HSLA steel sheets. Look for the PEM stamp to ensure genuine quality.
