PEM® self-clinching studs offer a reliable and efficient fastening solution for a variety of applications. Easily installed by squeezing into properly sized holes, these studs create a flushhead assembly with high torque-out and pushout resistances. Designed to replace weld studs, the heavy-duty HFH studs feature a large head that distributes tightening force for enhanced pull through resistance. Manufactured from heat-treated carbon steel, the HFG8™ and HF109™ studs are ideal for demanding applications, offering high tensile strength and hardness qualities. Meeting Grade 8 and property class 10.9 standards, these studs are recommended for use in steel or HSLA steel sheets with specific hardness levels.
