Install our PEM® self-clinching studs effortlessly by placing them in properly sized holes in sheets and squeezing them into place with a standard press. The squeezing action embeds the head of the stud into the sheet, with the displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove, creating a flushhead assembly that securely locks the stud with high torque-out and pushout resistances. Available in aluminum, steel, or stainless steel, our FH (flush-head) studs are suitable for sheet thicknesses of .040" and greater. Type FH is recommended for use in steel or aluminum sheets with specific hardness levels, while Type FHS and FHA cater to varying material requirements.
