Low-Displacement Head Studs - Types FHL, FHLS - Metric
PEM® self-clinching studs are efficiently installed by positioning them in appropriately sized holes in sheets and pressing them into place with a standard press. This process embeds the stud head securely into the sheet, with the displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove. As a result, a flushhead assembly is created, ensuring high torque-out and pushout resistances. The FHL (flush low-displacement head) Studs are designed to be installed closer to the sheet edge without causing bulging, making them ideal for use in steel or aluminum sheets with specific hardness levels. This type of stud, available in various sizes and materials, offers reliable fastening solutions for a range of applications.
