Low-Displacement Head Studs - Types FHL, FHLS - Unified
Install PEM® self-clinching studs effortlessly by inserting them into appropriately sized holes in sheets and pressing them into place with a standard press. The squeezing action embeds the stud head securely, with displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove, creating a flushhead assembly with high torque-out and pushout resistance. These low-displacement head studs, types FHL and FHLS, are ideal for sheet thicknesses of 0.040" and above, with FHL recommended for use in steel or aluminum sheets with specific hardness criteria. Featuring a flush-head design, they can be installed closer to the sheet edge without causing bulging, making them a reliable choice for various applications.
