Concealed-Head Studs - Types CHA,CFHA,CHC,CFHC - Metric
These studs ensure permanent mounting in metal sheets as thin as 1.60mm. The fastener head is locked securely in a blind, milled hole and can handle substantial loads. Featuring a concealed-head design, they leave the opposite side of the sheet smooth. Sheet preparation only requires a milled blind hole to the recommended depth, with center-cutting end mills available for this purpose. Installation is straightforward using a hollow anvil and solid punch—simply place the fastener head in the hole and insert using a standard press. The displaced sheet metal flows smoothly around the head, creating a secure and neat finish.
