Floating Self-Clinching Fasteners A4, AS, AC - Unified
These fasteners offer a convenient solution for creating load-bearing threads in thin sheets, allowing for up to 0.030” adjustment to accommodate mating hole misalignment. Featuring a self-clinching design, they enable quick and straightforward assembly by being squeezed into prepared holes with a standard press, securely locking in place. The floating nut extends fully into the retainer shank, providing added strength and support during assembly. Available in non-locking and self-locking versions, they are suitable for stainless steel sheets as thin as 0.038”, with hardness up to HRB 88. Meeting NASM25027 specifications for thread locking torque performance, these fasteners offer reliability in a variety of applications.
