Long-time General Manager, Charles (Charlie) Gerry, has announced his retirement from the role. Charlie has been with DB Roberts since the company’s inception in 1982 and DB Roberts’ sister company, Heilind Electronics, prior to that. Charlie led DB Roberts through sustainable, strategic growth, and was integral in the company’s expansion to 15 locations across North America. He also focused on onboarding high quality, dependable manufacturers and grew DB Roberts to be an authorized distributor for over fifty synergistic lines. Moving forward Charlie will continue with DB Roberts in a business development and consulting capacity.
Sandra Solis, DB Roberts Western Regional Sales Manager, will assume DB Roberts leadership responsibilities as Senior Vice President. Sandra has over 22 years of comprehensive experience in distribution. She has been with DB Roberts for 11 years in Sales Management roles and previously worked in Field Sales, Inside Sales, and Management capacities at Heilind Electronics for 11 years.
Kelly Loeb has accepted the role of Vice President of Sales for all DB Roberts locations in North America. Kelly joined DB Roberts when the company acquired Engineered Components in 1995 and has worked in both sales and marketing capacities within DB Roberts, most recently as Eastern Regional Sales Manager.
