The stud's head embeds securely into the sheet, with displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove, creating a flushhead assembly. This design ensures high torque-out and pushout resistances, ideal for various applications. Available in aluminum, steel, or stainless steel, these FH (flush-head) studs are suitable for sheet thicknesses of .040” and above. Type FH is recommended for use in steel or aluminum sheets with specific hardness levels, while FHS and FHA variations cater to varying material properties.
