Our PEM® self-clinching studs offer efficient installation by simply placing them in appropriately sized holes in sheets and pressing them into place with a standard press. This process embeds the stud head into the sheet, with the displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove. The result is a flushhead assembly that securely locks the stud in place, providing high torque-out and pushout resistances. Available in aluminum, steel, or stainless steel, these flush-head studs are ideal for sheet thicknesses of .040” and above. With different types recommended for varying hardness levels in steel or aluminum sheets, including FHA for softer aluminum, our self-clinching pins ensure reliable and durable fastening solutions.
