Our PEM® self-clinching studs offer seamless installation by simply placing them in appropriately sized holes in the sheets and pressing them in with a standard press. This process embeds the stud head into the sheet, with the displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove. The result is a flushhead assembly that securely locks the stud in place, providing high torque-out and pushout resistances. Available in aluminum, steel, or stainless steel, these FH (flush-head) studs are ideal for sheet thicknesses of 0.040” and above. With various types tailored for specific material hardness, they ensure reliable performance in steel or aluminum sheets. For softer aluminum sheets, our FHA type is particularly recommended.
