Our PEM® self-clinching studs offer easy installation by simply placing them in appropriately sized holes in sheets and pressing them into place with a standard press. This process embeds the stud head into the sheet, creating a flushhead assembly with high torque-out and pushout resistances. Available in aluminum, steel, or stainless steel, these FH (flush-head) studs are ideal for sheet thicknesses of 0.040” and greater. Type FH is recommended for use in steel or aluminum sheets with specific hardness levels, while FHS and FHA variations cater to varying hardness requirements.
