Easily install our PEM® self-clinching studs in sheets by placing them in appropriately sized holes and pressing them in with a standard press. The head of the stud embeds securely into the sheet, with displaced metal flowing smoothly around the ribs and into the annular groove for a flushhead assembly. This design offers high torque-out and pushout resistances for reliable fastening. Available in aluminum, steel, or stainless steel, these FH (flush-head) studs are ideal for sheet thicknesses of .040” and greater. Choose Type FH for use in steel or aluminum sheets with hardness ratings of HRB 80 or less and HB 150 or less, Type FHS for HRB 70 or less and HB 125 or less, and Type FHA for aluminum sheets with HRB 50 or less and HB 82 or less.
